The primary goal of the study was to identify methods that are working to initiate and retain Chinese returnees in RFGs. Qualitative field research consisted of semi-structured interviews conducted in China with eighteen members of City A and City B RFGs. The issues are the appropriateness and effectiveness of these efforts. This study intends to analyze the current needs of the house churches in China in order to improve the effectiveness of their leadership development, particularly for the Christian Ministry Institute (CMI).
