This project explored the internal demographics of the congregation by analyzing the Annual Church Profile data  and conducting an internal assessment to establish a baseline of church-health. I explored existing models of church health to identify best practices in the field and created an annotated bibliography and a list of best practices. I compiled research on church health and strategic planning and presented the research to the Strategic Initiative Team, selected from a cross-section of \r\ncurrent church leaders. The Strategic Initiative Team met for six strategy planning sessions and developed a customized strategy to promote church health and overcome unhealthy practices within the church. The Strategic Initiative Team presented the strategy to the membership of First Baptist Church Gulf Breeze for approval. This project enhanced my knowledge of church health and skills in developing strategic initiatives. I accomplished this project through three goals. First, I researched the field of spiritual disciplines and the worship ministry, examining the literature related to  the disciplines that support a church’s worship ministry. From this study, I determined specific spiritual disciplines to be essential to the worship ministry of a church. Subsequently, I studied curriculum design and created lessons based on the results from the research phase of the project. Finally, I \r\nimplemented the curriculum to equip worship ministry team members of Fifth Street Baptist Church in selected spiritual disciplines. Experts evaluated the selected disciplines and the designed curriculum before I implemented them. The project consisted of a five-week sermon series on sanctification. The evaluation measured effectiveness through pretests and posttests administered to selected church members. In addition, experts evaluated the theological content, structure, and delivery of the sermons using established rubrics and provided useful feedback. Selected church members also evaluated the sermon delivery using rubrics. Finally, weekly personal reflection and application of these evaluations served as an additional means of assessing the project’s success. The project took place in three different phases. First, I researched the field of church revitalization to determine what competencies are suitable in a multiethnic church setting. Second, using a team of experts in church revitalization, including LeRoy Ford’s book Design for Teaching and Training, I developed a workshop that provides an overview of various multiethnic church revitalization factors for the selected pastors. Third, I equipped the selected pastors with the multiethnic church revitalization workshop to increase their knowledge and understanding of multiethnic church revitalization. Finally, for the project completion, I encouraged the selected pastors to carry out the responsibility of revitalizing their churches, using the multiethnic church revitalization competencies. A total of twenty pastors attended the workshop, and the workshop lasted for about eight hours with six different sessions. As such, \r\npastors and ministry leaders must be doctrinally and scripturally equipped so that they may, in turn, teach key doctrinal competency skills to their respective congregations. The purpose of this equipping project was to highlight the need  for sound biblical doctrines with a selected group of Florida Southern Baptist Haitian pastors. I designed this project to expose the danger that exists in churches where congregants are not well-equipped on essential biblical doctrines. Many benefits result from churches where the leaders and \r\ncongregants are well-versed and equipped in sound doctrines. On November 23, 2024, twelve Southern Baptist Haitian pastors in Miami, Florida, participated in equipping sessions. The purpose of the equipping sessions was to expose the selected pastors to key Baptist doctrines as highlighted in The 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. After successful implementation of the project, a posttest administered to the select group of pastors evidenced growth in knowledge of essential doctrinal competencies. The project's first phase involved an external demographic study of Kingsley Lake, Florida, as well as an internal demographic study of Kingsley Lake Baptist Church to determine the composition of men in the church and its surrounding community. I identified the men’s discipleship needs using demographic studies and a spiritual health assessment. In the second phase, I explored existing discipleship models to identify best practices for men’s discipleship. The project’s third phase focused on developing the final men’s discipleship strategy. I assembled and trained a strategy planning team of eight men to assist in developing the men’s discipleship strategy. The project model chosen for this task was the preaching skills enhancement model. The project began with research: first in apologetics preaching and then in Christian apologetics. Once  research was complete, I used the information gathered to develop a sermon series addressing selected apologetics topics for the Calvary Baptist Church congregation and then delivered the sermons to the congregation. I gathered congregational and professional feedback on the sermons after the series was delivered. Upon hiring the current senior pastor in 2009, the church began a substantial revitalization journey that continues to this day. One of the early steps was revising the church's bylaws, which nullified all previous policies and left the process for future policy development unclear. As a church grows numerically, developing the systems that support its growth becomes paramount. This project addressed one of those systems by proposing the establishment of a policy development strategy. The first part  of this project explored the field of church policies to determine the best process for policy development. The second part examined the current policies at Stetson Baptist Church to determine policy development needs. The third and final part established a policy development strategy for church council consideration. The first step of the project was to examine the effectiveness of Wayside’s current discipleship efforts. The second step of the project involved researching small group disciple-making methods. In \r\nthe third step, the project director led a strategy team to develop a disciple-making strategy over the course of three strategy meetings. The fourth step of the project was to present the completed strategy to the deacons for approval. During this step, the project director presented a disciple-making strategy for the adult Bible fellowship groups of Wayside Baptist Church.
