The project director began by researching the field of discipling children and producing a comparative analysis to determine the best practices. He then produced a report of six best practices for discipling children in the home. Next, the project director developed curriculum to train parents how to use the best practices discovered and use the curriculum to teach a selected group of parents at the church with the best practices. Through the process, the project director increased his knowledge of discipleship practices in the home and in equipping families to lead their children spiritually. He also increased his knowledge and skill curriculum writing and classroom instruction. During the process, expert evaluators guided the director in development and implementation of the project."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5e492469-490e-44a3-90c1-17560a603bc2"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791125756936454144,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:17:11.843Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T18:28:13Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:14:26Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"98a6f500-dadd-416e-b79a-e3907b83a034","accessControl_ssim":["e77700fc-db70-4974-93b6-98599b7330c2"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Equipping selected teachers of the Georgia Baptist Convention Hispanic churches in best Bible teaching practices for children"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T18:28:12Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:35:46Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["2781c0a2-219e-466a-972d-1862b2a028cf"],"hasLease_ssim":["9f8e8ad7-dd94-4245-ad2e-75dee1ad6a96"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Jeanine Bozeman Ph.D."],"year_tesim":["2019"],"location_tesim":["Georgia"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. First the project director researched the field to determine best practices for teaching theology to children, and then developed a curriculum. The project director presented the curriculum in an all-day training session. The training session included: (1) teaching methodologies based on Deuteronomy, (2) questions carefully worded to help children discover the Bible message, and (3) a model for discovering biblical truth, developed to help both the teacher and the students identify the doctrinal elements in the bible passage being studied and for creative, practical ways to apply the doctrine in daily life. An expert in biblical and theological studies reviewed the research and an annotated bibliography on which the curriculum was designed, and a curriculum expert approved the lesson plans. Rev. Tim Millwood, as field mentor, discussed the project prior to the implementation, attended the project implementation, and provided feedback on the project and its impact. The stages of the project development, results, evaluation, and reflection complete the project report."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5e492469-490e-44a3-90c1-17560a603bc2"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799720971112808448,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:14:26.848Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"D.Min.
