To achieve this objective, the thesis will focus itself on the following sections: . What is solid waste? . What is the history of managing solid waste in Ghana? . Why is it important to manage solid waste for matters having to do with the economy and health? . Understanding solid waste management in theological perspective. On solution, the aim of the thesis is to develop a theology of stewardship as a response to the solid waste problem in Ghana. Finally, this paper proposes advocacy for change of attitude toward God's creation, commitment to purposeful solid waste management strategies, and confronting weaker systems that obstruct solid waste management as three practical ways the church in Ghana can help in dealing with the state's solid waste problem."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b5eba5c2-141b-4673-9689-2f9720736859"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129232701652992,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:12:26.592Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:25:28Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:33:26Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"3e5c9225-02dc-4295-baf4-bd7f836ff275","accessControl_ssim":["c61beb50-d919-48b0-9227-b0c396cddd7d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Impacting the Practice of Church Unity as an Essential Part of Christ's Mission among a Select Group of Pastors in Ghana"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:25:27Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:56:24Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["742902d1-e1ac-4316-af39-6100ab1addf9"],"hasLease_ssim":["20358575-83f7-4835-bc98-0791b5b05df4"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Ashland Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Andrew Wright"],"year_tesim":["2016"],"location_tesim":["Ghana"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Joshua Baah-Binney"],"keyword_tesim":["Theology, Ecumenical"],"publisher_tesim":["Ashland Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Christians","Clergy--Training of"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["the purpose of this project was to impact a select group of pastors in Ghana through a six week study on the importance of Christ's mission of church unity. This thesis explores ways by which the Seventh-Day Adventist Church can adapt radio broadcasting for social change and evangelism in Ghana. Thus, a study of literature on the art of religious broadcasting, contracts by letters, and interviews and surveys were made to find practical and innovative approaches to contexualized radio evangelism. Out of a number of religious programming formats, this research developed four program scripts aimed at presenting the gospel while showing the government and the people of Ghana that the Christian church is committed to addressing social issues."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Andrews University"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4b1d9df2-25d6-46f6-a889-1871c277d61c"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791135225554665473,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:47:41.822Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":9,"label":"Unknown"},{"value":"D.Min.
