Christianity surged in the area unprecedentedly, following various miracles and healings. As persecution increased, the church grew, and the reason was the relentless prayer and faithfulness of the children of God. This is an encouraging example to all the suffering Christians in India and throughout the globe. In the face of severe persecution and other internal and external challenges facing the church in Arunachal Pradesh, it is absolutely vital that pastors, leaders and believers in churches be strengthened and rooted in the Word of God, effectively to bring growth in order to have biblically sound congregations. The series of Inductive Bible Study will empower Christians to withstand these challenges with the power of the Holy Spirit.A workshop “How to Study the Bible Effectively” was conducted in the Pasighat of East Siang District, A.P. The study facilitated learning tools to interpret the Bible inductively, to explore means to conduct an in-depth study especially in mission fields where literary resources are not readily available. The purpose of this study was to develop and sharpen the theological understanding for enrichment in biblical studies and to provide opportunity for ministry enhancement to pastors, evangelists and lay leaders in the SAF Mt Carmel Prayer Center, Pasighat, East Siang district. I have decided to interview her in particular, because she was an integral member of an historic Indo-Pentecostal family in the Church of God (Cleveland TN), in Trinidad. With her late husband, Edward D. Hasmatali, they brought the Church of God (CoG) to the island, and were deeply involved in leadership training and church planting. Indo-Trinidadian Pentecostalism seems to be somewhat of an overlooked area of academic study, thus in interviewing Starry, I will seek to uncover their experiences in ministry in Trinidad and Canada, particularly in relation to their historic connection to the Church of God.
