There is little critical evaluation of the Cursillo movement, and the available literature on the movement raises questions about the legitimacy and propriety of some methods employed during the Cursillo weekend. The design of this project is to discover the long-term effects of the Reformed Cursillo in Northwest Iowa. A forty-question church effectiveness survey, developed for the purpose of identifying effective rural churches, was mailed to the pastors of sixty-seven rural Reformed churches in northern Iowa.
