A biblical and theological perspective is offered on pastoral concerns emerging from family life in the changing society.  The roles of family members which contribute to a responsible church and society are considered, along with family planning.  Separation of husband from family to work in distant places for economic survival is a most serious situation impacting families in Kenya.  The church has an important role on educating families to survive and reshape society.
