The reason for considerable growth in the nation without necessarily reaching the APS is due to the number of immigrants living in Spain, especially from Latin America.This dissertation investigates the EC in the Autonomous Community of Madrid [ACM] from its beginnings and its methods used to transmit the Gospel to unbelievers, especially among the APS. The author researched whether confusion about cessationism in non-charismatic evangelical churches in southern Spain comes from the lack of a clear explanation of cessationism. The research method was to have 27 readers from 10 non-charismatic churches read a manuscript explaining cessationism and complete pre- and post-reading questionnaires to evaluate its usefulness. The results showed that the explanation helped reduce confusion about cessationism. Over 90% of the readers understood and affirmed it more. The mutual incomprehension leads to tensions in interpersonal relationships, which almost collapse the evangelization.  The results of the analysis allow an adjoining and a clarification of misconceptions.  This clearly defines lines of mutual action to be taken. The author saw a need to evaluate present procedures in the light of history feeling that such a study would reveal any effective or fragmented practices and policies, strengthen the present ministry, and contribute to the design of future strategy.  After reading extensively in the areas of biblical and theological foundations for missions, missiology, historiography and Spanish history, the author thoroughly investigated the records, minutes, documents and archives of the Baptist mission to Spain and interviewed missionaries and Spaniards having a personal knowledge of the history of the mission.  Letters and documents were obtained from other religious agencies. This dissertation/project represents the findings and recommendations of the
