The researcher employed case study method and analyzed relationship between identities and integration in the two cultures. The coming of Kenyan immigrants into this land calls for a reconfiguration of the ways in which they can be accommodated. This project synthesized and developed strategies that can be used to help them integrate into the American culture. Worshipping at Kenyan Community Church has brought Kenyans to fellowship together. During this phase the project director also investigated existing strategy models in order to discover the best practices in strategy development.  During phase two the project director led a selected group of leaders of the Covington Baptist Association of Covington County, Alabama, to develop a multifaceted strategy for the association. This thesis too recounts the political, social, and religious tensions that existed in pre-Revolutionary North Carolina and examines the role that the regulator movement and the Battle of Alamance would play in stifling the evangelistic efforts of the Separate Baptists in the frontier regions of the colony during that period. Preaching and teaching the Word of God are the cornerstone of Tabernacle Baptist Congregation. Christian education is for the church what water is for a fish. Sunday School plays a vital role in the church's programs. However, Sunday School evangelism has so far been neglected. Can Tabernacle Baptist Congregation have any potential for spiritual growth without the promotion of the Great Commission? The promotion of Sunday School evangelism at Tabernacle Baptist Congregation would enable the author of this thesis project to respond. A congregational profile will enable the author of this thesis project to discover the challenges that this church is facing in promoting Sunday School outreach. A university-oriented church is an intergenerational congregation that chooses to be close to a major college or university community, including physically, socially, culturally, and spiritually, and actively engages that community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The author completed a series of interviews with leaders of churches around the United States that are focused on secular university communities. Because of the tension that exists between religion and government preachers find it necessary to comment on political issues which affect their congregations. These issues can include things like the actions of a local school board, the enactment of federal laws, and world and international events. This thesis realizes that ministers have great latitude in deciding upon the content of their sermons. Legislative and judicial prohibitions on sermon content are relatively minimal in the United States. However, to preach political sermons in a way that glorifies God and edifies the believer demands prayerful and thoughtful preparation.
