The research included the history of the Wesley Methodist Church of Ghana (Brooklyn, NY); theology of evangelism; and evangelism and the Ghanaian community.  The project comprised twelve sessions involving: learning, presentation, and role-playing. Traditional patterns of leadership among Alaskan natives as found in the ethnographic literature is described. The priorities of the newspaper's various roles were explored by examining polls of Baptist editors and the Index's board of directors.  A profile analysis of the newspaper's constituency showed an alarming absence of young readers, posing a threat to The Index's future vitality and influence. The project then develops a practical guideline for the church workers for their mixed-marriage family ministry.  The research has been done through the review of literature, questionnaires, and intensive case studies.
