A follow-up manual was given to half of the 26 new members of the church to use for a period of four months.  The treatment and control groups were administered pre- and post-test surveys and results were compared. Three disciplines, Christian education, church growth, and organizational development are used to inform reflection on the project.  The conclusion of the reflection is that if the Sunday School is to be a vital Christian organization, it must more closely approximate the Anglican Volunteer Religious Societies from which it began.
