The discover project consisted of an assessment tool created and implemented for qualitative and quantitative responses.The most prominent finding was the Christian therapists have the ability to view the relationships of young adults with God and see those relationships improve through Equine Assisted Therapy. The handbook was divided into spiritual formation and crisis intervention units. It was evaluated by an expert panel with experience working with mid-adolecents in youth ministry and/or as a professional counselor. This project assessed their academic, social, and spiritual formation necessary to maintain their cultural identity as they adapt to the American culture to discover how to help improve their self-esteem, to teach healthy relationships, and teach freedom from the need to oppress, control, or to feel superior to others. The data collected and analyzed discovered that these young Liberians surveyed had good attitudes toward their race and national identity as Liberians.  They feel loved by God and believed they are good persons. Responses of 34 participants indicated that the provision of programs and activities were a major factor in influencing youth toward participation in the church.  A significant number of the participants felt wanted and needed in the Church.
