Effectiveness of the program was evaluated by African American male and female pastors. Ratings were grouped and analyzed by gender; differences were not statistically different. Both groups affirmed value in the program's capacity to facilitate family discussions about organ donation and to underscore the need for donation in African American communities. To a lesser extent, evaluators responded favorably to the program's capacity to correct informational barriers. The first model is a long-term leadership training program designed to empower the existing pastors through [a] weekend training program. The models were tested by twelve Christian leaders with experience in missionary training schools. By many statistical reports this is the least likely group to be in worship on Sunday. There seems to be a disconnection with this group when it comes to corporate worship times and other church-related activities, although this group has many indicators that point to spiritual desire. The worship offerings, in particular, seem to be failing when it comes to attracting this age group. The project introduces a discovery model based upon survey, interviews, and observation that attempts to look at two recent developments in worship which seem to be attracting this 18-35 year-old age group. The two different worship styles were functioning at the two churches that were studied in this project. These two services, contemporary and modern multi-sensory, were used to compare and contrast the effectiveness of attracting and producing a level of participation within the targeted age group. The two most important findings were: first, the contemporary worship service was of greater importance in the lives of the surveyed groups than the multi-sensory worship service. Yet the surveyed group from the multi-sensory worship indicated they were much more participative in the life of the church than the contemporary group. Accessing disciplines of the arts, personal narrative development, and spiritual formation practices, participants interacted with themes of identity, paradox. direction, God image, voice, grief, fear, movement, and community. Participants volunteered for a ten-week, multidimensional spiritual formation program that included formational prayer and inner healing with liturgical dance as an experiential exercise.  The results were that the dancers experienced emotional, physical, and spiritual healing through the program, as well as increased communication with other in the program.  To a lesser extent some dancers developed a more disciplined and positive spiritual outlook, while others improved their self-image. Participants took a quantitative pre-test before receiving instruction in twelve training sessions. Following the training, they again took the quantitative test along with a qualitative post-test.  Overall, the project was a success.  Participants gained a greater understanding of the structures of healing, the effects of sexual abuse, and the developmental causes of same-sex attraction and sexual addiction. The primary methods of assessment were quantitative surveys. The data gathered was analyzed based on nine different facets of spiritual maturity. This study found there is a positive correlation between ministry involvement and spiritual maturity.  The facet of spiritual maturity that most positively associates with ministry participation is involvement in a small group community.
