The objective is to provide a systematic strategy for restoring a declining, dysfunctional and stalled church to a growing, healthy and vibrant congregation. The field research involved case studies. Though every case study was unique, every church was found to have utilized seven turnaround factors in its revitalization. The desperation and urgency of the church resulted in a more immediate and less difficult turnaround process. A qualitative study was conducted using grounded theory. Interviews with church planting experts, church planters, and an online survey were the primary data sources. The online survey helped triangulate the data and provided a quantitative element to the research. This research found that relational connectedness was critical to people hearing, connecting, and staying in a new church. This thesis examined specific issues dealing with the use of telemental health in pastoral counseling. From this research two conclusions can be drawn. The forty-two Minnesota town and country churches in the study group are technologically ready for telemental health; however, the human aspect of using telemental health is lagging behind the technology. Socio-cultural misunderstanding hampers relational harmony and ministry effectiveness in affected churches. In response to this problem, the researcher surveyed rurban leaders in three geographic regions of the United States, identified the major recurrent components of the rurban collision, and made recommendations to church leaders concerning how to effectively lead in the presence of rurban socio-cultural tension. The problem that this project addressed is that there is currently no general understanding of how current faith develpment research can be used to promote the spiritual development of children who are raised in Harmony. The six key areas of spiritual growth identified in these interviews are: relationship with parents, relationships with peers, relationship with significant adults, search for identity, transformative life events, and God's activity. Based on the analysis of data through mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative research), the researcher proposed modifying and updating the traditional Japanese seminary curriculum for pastoral ministry. A modified curriculum requires first that seminaries nurture leaders who can lead their churches toward the eschatological vision in Revelation 7:9 as the goal of ministry. Second, it requires that seminaries accumulate and excavate skills from actual Japanese pastoral experience in order to account for specific Japanese characteristics in
