Voices from the fields of cultural psychology, anthropology, theology and spirituality contribute to defining and clarifying the problems and possibilities that have emerged through distillation of the data gathered in the field study and through the surveys conducted. The project outcomes invite us as Good Samaritans to walk the pathway that leads beyond cultural boundaries, ethnic divisions and religious expressions, exploring new horizons of inclusion, imagination and internationality."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Catholic Theological Union"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b51273d2-7ff5-4ecb-af24-64508c2367ad"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129643554701312,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:18:58.412Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:03:19Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:10:48Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"3af1126e-8362-4413-8fb6-4a81d6280a6d","accessControl_ssim":["2969b8f0-1a64-4712-af03-87d3c56e4fb1"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Reading the landscapes of their lives: an exploration of and resource for the spirituality of women teachers in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:03:18Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:50:18Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ee3534e3-832f-453a-99ce-57686d83ad2c"],"hasLease_ssim":["d1f4e77e-e842-449f-b72a-7dacb12fe3cb"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Catholic Theological Union"],"advisor_tesim":["Barbara Ellen Bowe"],"year_tesim":["2000"],"location_tesim":["New Zealand"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Elizabeth Mary Julian"],"publisher_tesim":["Catholic Theological Union"],"subject_tesim":["Catholic Church","Women teachers","Catholic women"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This thesis project employs the metaphor of reading landscapes to explore the spirituality of women who teach in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Wellington, Aotearoa, New Zealand. Various aspects of the women's lives are read: the broader ANZ and Archdiocesan context in which they teach, the spiritual landscape and in particular the geographic landscape which they inhabit. Also explored are the ways in which these women read the Bible. The final chapter presents a plan of a resource to enable women to read the Bible and the landscape together for their spiritual enrichment. Through interviews, participant observation and the Whiteheads' method of theological reflection, the author places the experience of the interviewees in dialogue with aspects of US culture, post-Vatican II understanding of lay ministry, and Lasallian Spirituality. He uncovers the need for training for transition and theological reflection. The author suggests a model of theological reflection, re-framing and re-naming what is being done in connection to broader Christian tradition."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Catholic Theological Union"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b51273d2-7ff5-4ecb-af24-64508c2367ad"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129072678469632,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:09:53.982Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":11,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"David K Kusi","hits":1,"label":"David K Kusi"},{"value":"Elizabeth Mary Julian","hits":1,"label":"Elizabeth Mary Julian"},{"value":"Eugene Curran","hits":1,"label":"Eugene Curran"},{"value":"Geraldine A Kearney","hits":1,"label":"Geraldine A Kearney"},{"value":"Helen E Cahill","hits":1,"label":"Helen E Cahill"},{"value":"John D Wright","hits":1,"label":"John D Wright"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[{"value":"Indigenization of worship","hits":1,"label":"Indigenization of worship"},{"value":"Land (Theology)","hits":1,"label":"Land (Theology)"},{"value":"Theology, Ecumenical","hits":1,"label":"Theology, Ecumenical"}],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Catholic Church","hits":2,"label":"Catholic Church"},{"value":"Ancestor worship","hits":1,"label":"Ancestor worship"},{"value":"Basic Christian communities","hits":1,"label":"Basic Christian communities"},{"value":"Catholic women","hits":1,"label":"Catholic women"},{"value":"Christian education of adults","hits":1,"label":"Christian education of adults"},{"value":"Christianity and African religions","hits":1,"label":"Christianity and African religions"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[{"value":"Brazil","hits":1,"label":"Brazil"},{"value":"England--London","hits":1,"label":"England--London"},{"value":"New Zealand","hits":1,"label":"New Zealand"}],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":11,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Catholic Theological Union","hits":11,"label":"Catholic Theological Union"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":11,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"2000","hits":11,"label":"2000"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Catholic Theological Union","hits":11,"label":"Catholic Theological Union"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":11,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Catholic Theological Union","hits":11,"label":"Catholic Theological Union"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":11,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":2,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":2,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":11,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":false}}}
