Using a Womanist framework, the project determines how AME congregations and ecclesiastical leadership can respond appropriately to clergywomen's voices and leadership styles. Six AME senior pastors are interviewed and twelve senior pastors and other women clergy are surveyed identifying four areas of interviewed and twelve senior pastors and other women clergy are surveyed identifying four areas of disparity between female clergy and their male counterparts: the call to ministry, preparation for ministry, well being , and church status. Theological anthropology helps deconstruct the author's personal experience in Part One. Max Weber's theory of ideal types continues  the author's systematic arguments for placing social location as a primary consideration in pastoral ministry in Part II. Using comparative theology method and ethnography, traditional Hmong culture and Roman Catholic dialogues within cosmology, anthropology, rituals, symbols, and culture calues to find connections, disconnections and lacunae within the Roman Catholic tradition, allowing for an expanded understanding withing Catholic theology and worship. The author responded and asserted that evangelization among the Wasukuma requires an inculturation process which engages dialogue between the gospel and the culture. Through utilization of the practical theology method and qualitative research methods, the author correlated the Christian tradition, theological scholarship, the lived experiences of the people, and his experience in ministry, and proposed a liturgical inculturation of the eucharistic celebration. When encountering such challenges, faith formation becomes an important instrument by which one may integrate the characteristics of Catholic faith in individuals and encourage concrete services within the local Christian community.  For effective faith formation, Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) are a primary means of formative activity.  To respond to ministerial needs within the INdonesian context, this thesis proposes a program of adult faith formation for BECs.  The 'program' refers to the praxis of process of developing faith formation based on contextual needs.
