The project has five chapters: 1) The need for AIDS education at colleges and universities; 2) The Purdue University model; 3) Theological reflections; 4) Ethical reflections; and 5) Evaluation and recommendations for the future.  Research is based on the responses of 250 students to the model. In Africa, where oral tradition, communalism, illiteracy, and poverty prevail, it is imperative that the church make use of the media seriously in its task of evangelism.  Uganda is discussed as a model for such an evangelism project through the broadcast media.
