Emphasis is given to imagination, subversion of stereo-type, immigration and the discipline of hospitality. 50 Evangelical Christians from Otter Creek Church participated in a 4 month dialog on the responsibility of Christians toward Muslims in the US. This resulted in moderate to significant changes in perceptions, attitudes and stereo-types. This project examines interfaith pilgrimage as such a model of interfaith relationship building. My thesis is that a joint, congregationally-based, educational program is an effective approach for fostering genuine Jewish-Christian dialogue. The research model used is both ethnographic and pro-active from the point of view of a participant/observer.
