Analysis of Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16 demonstrates that a variety of congregational song may be used in corporate worship, but this song must always be didactic in character. In the Reformation, congregational song was meant to serve a liturgical purpose. Proclamation of law exposes the hearer's sinfulness and need of a Savior.  Proclamation of gospel reveals Jesus as Savior, offering forgiveness and salvation to all who believe. Perceptions do differ as to the impact of internal and external factors influencing divorced decisions and actions.  Successful ministry to the divorced must take into consideration these emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions.  Bridges can be built and barriers overcome when these elements are properly
