Pastor Min Joo Ra's study is based upon his personal experience of God's powerful hand working through the medium of music within his church, Los Angeles Korean Presbyterian Bible Church. Members renewed their fervor for church as God's love was more fully experienced in light of one of God's precious gifts to man: music. Profile and survey data for 126 adult members received over a six-year period were used to study factors influencing their experience with the church, with the pastor, and their preparation for membership.  A program of monthly pastoral correspondences for the member's first year was designed to encourage biblically based responses in two-way communication with the pastor. The author also tested the thesis that sermons explicitly utilizing covenant themes would be better understood and retained and more easily applied than sermons using other images. Questionnaires, both initial and follow-up, tested this thesis within the local parish context. It proposes that students use peer mediation in a Scriptural based program.  The project uses previous evaluations of peer mediation programs and results of a questionnaire sent to all Lutheran High Schools in the United States.  The research shows a need for scriptural based peer mediation.  This includes a peer mediation workbook with sample forms and letters.  In response the paper espouses ways to implement a successful peer mediation program.
