Students reported a high level of satisfaction with the project, while revealing difficulty in time management, finances, communication, personal habits, devotional life and child rearing. This project begins with a survey of biblical and professional literature regarding the subject of vocational ministry mentoring.  Special emphasis has been placed upon literature that addresses the cultural issues that one may face while ministering in the North American Chinese church context.  The centerpiece of this project revolves around two case studies of Chinese churches that are presently sponsoring and hosting vocational ministry internships. Once case study was conducted at the West Houston (Houston, Tex) Chinese Church and the second involving two churches with a cooperative internship program--the Chinese Bible Church of Maryland (Rockville, Md), and the Chinese Christian Church of Greater Washington, DC (Silver Spring, Md).
