A quasi-experimental design was conducted with a control group and two differentiated treatment groups of twenty members each. A survey was taken of United Presbyterian pastors at an annual Presbytery retreat in September, 1981.  Sixty valid surveys (77U) were returned and a feed-back event was held six months later. It stresses the importance of a congregation becoming more involved in the baptism of each child and provides resources for parents to guide children.  This model for a congregational baptismal ministry includes concepts of the baptismal liturgy, the learning methodologies of the Small Catechism, and the redemptive approach of small Koinonia groups of parents.  This project was the response of two churches to fill an evident void within the whole church. These were implemented in the local church, Chicago metropolitan area, and as a national youth leadership program.  This project included a nationwide questionnaire survey which identified needs and problems of Korean youth, and is based on study of the transition of biculturalism of Korean immigrants, with special reference to youth-parent relationships.  It is grounded in a 'vision theology' for Korean immigrants that has both theoretical and practical aspects. The purpose was to improve faith resources for contemporary Christians.  In a series of ten lessons the project presented biographical statements and spiritually relevant issues.  A seven step decision-making process was the uniting theme.  Methods employed were sermons, pictures, role-playing, discussion, pre- and post-tests, and evaluation questionnaires. As a basis for this claim the theological response made by the ancient Hebrews in their temple design, the development of church buildings by the Christian communities in the first three centuries, and several contemporary church buildings are discussed.  The method of doing theology through architecture used at lexington Church of the Cross is presented.
