It seeks to overcome some of the weakness of, and act as an extension of, premarital counseling. The project serves to help newlyweds in their first years of marriage and was based on Gottman and Silver's book Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. There were five sessions and six couples involved. The program was designed to help couples grow in love, assess key relational issues and increase in their appreciation of marital enrichment. The participants spent three months acquiring the basic knowledge of autism spectrum disorders. They spent another three months compiling the long-rage plan based on their reflections from the reading and workshops, the feedback from parents who have autistic kid(s), the responses of eighty-nine surveyees, and the insight gained from the analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats while adopting a new ministry. Through the utilization of surveys, interaction with various governmental agencies, and direct initiative to the targeted people group, it became evident that there were substantial difficulties that had to be overcome by the church, the employees of the Colorado Department of Corrections, and the families of the incarcerated for true ministry to occur. It equipped the parents with the skills necessary to manage no-end grief.  No-end grief manifests in parents of handicapped children as unrelenting episodes of grief with no predictable conclusion.  During a six-week workshop, the instructor introduced a proactive grief management tool he calls Flash Grief.
