It seeks to overcome some of the weakness of, and act as an extension of, premarital counseling. The project serves to help newlyweds in their first years of marriage and was based on Gottman and Silver's book Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. There were five sessions and six couples involved. The program was designed to help couples grow in love, assess key relational issues and increase in their appreciation of marital enrichment. This project had as its aim to train eight men to lead the church body and their families in a doctrinal study. The project was conducted in March of 2007. The parents were provided syllabi and participated in three teaching sessions, enjoyed a catered lunch, and concluded the workshop with an extended time for questions and answers. Follow-up support groups met for the three consecutive Sunday evenings.  The seminar addressed cognitive, skill-development, and affective issues centered on the issues of childrearing. He sees worship as activity placing ultimate value on Jesus Christ, expressed as education, celebration, and demonstration. His program of inspiration, education, and implementation attempted to increase family worship activity in fifteen parish families.  Of forty-nine participating families, eighteen registered a substantial increase in home worship activity.
