It stems from generations of Confucianism infusing culture and idolizing this image as mature and dignified for aging adults.  With the expansion of human life span where four generation families are no longer a novelty, there could soon be families with more people expecting to be served than available hands to serve. A carefully selected group of 15 members was trained in order that they understand the biblical mandate of evangelism and become active evangelists.  The doctrinal studies covered 4 weeks followed by 6-weeks of actual evangelism training. Over the course of the project, the project director stressed the importance of the Great Commission, led powerful evangelism training whilestressing the missional aspects of the church.  The evangelism teams were formed consisting of 2-3 individuals. For the development, geo-cultural situations, Korean church-associated issues and various women-specific needs were examined.  After the implementation with a sample group, through various surveys and group discussions, the methodology, purpose and target-audience identification were refined and resulted in a long-term comprehensive program called 'Wise Women Project.'
