The author was one of three designers and co-facilitators of this training. The project assesses the effectiveness of the course in enhancing interfaith leadership capacities and identifies twenty characteristics required of a competent leader in this emerging field. The methodology and data are based on interviews with 59 of the 61 participants in BAP II, along with interviews of the other co-facilitators."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Hartford Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["8e52e4c8-38b6-4846-872d-a744b4f5725d"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791125997157875712,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:21:00.937Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:37:00Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:01:51Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"ab4f5cd3-27d4-44cc-be9a-8963d0a72848","accessControl_ssim":["5178b1b7-737f-4cd2-81c9-a230a54a2d07"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The North Jersey company of pastors: building competencies and strengthening relationships for ministry as a community of practice"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:36:59Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:04:45Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["95e3e53a-9184-4f97-ba9d-b4e60d9c8730"],"hasLease_ssim":["07c384e9-08df-40d7-98f0-11545e87e3d4"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Hartford Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Scott Thumma"],"year_tesim":["2013"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Robert C Foltz-Morrison"],"publisher_tesim":["Hartford Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Group work in education","Clergy--Training of"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This report evaluated a peer-led learning project in which twenty-five pastors participated. Synagogue affiliation rates are on a steady decline, and American Jews, particularly younger Jews, have lost the historic value of affiliation. Something else is needed to reclaim the collective wisdom of lived theology (Jewishness). It has been impossible for Judaism to speak of God in relation to the world, devoid of Jewish practice. Using an interview method that uncovers tacit knowledge, this project illustrates how committed synagogue members have created an 'insider's' language that is both foreign and alienating to Jews outside the established community."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Hartford Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["8e52e4c8-38b6-4846-872d-a744b4f5725d"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799721782561734656,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:27:20.706Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Aaron R Spiegel","hits":1,"label":"Aaron R Spiegel"},{"value":"Robert C Foltz-Morrison","hits":1,"label":"Robert C Foltz-Morrison"},{"value":"Yehezhel Landau","hits":1,"label":"Yehezhel Landau"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[{"value":"Relation (Theology)","hits":1,"label":"Relation (Theology)"}],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Abrahamic religions","hits":1,"label":"Abrahamic religions"},{"value":"Alienation (Social psychology)","hits":1,"label":"Alienation (Social psychology)"},{"value":"Christianity and other religions","hits":1,"label":"Christianity and other religions"},{"value":"Clergy--Training of","hits":1,"label":"Clergy--Training of"},{"value":"Communities--Religious aspects--Judaism","hits":1,"label":"Communities--Religious aspects--Judaism"},{"value":"Group work in education","hits":1,"label":"Group work in education"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":3,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Hartford Seminary","hits":3,"label":"Hartford Seminary"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":3,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"2013","hits":3,"label":"2013"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Hartford Seminary","hits":3,"label":"Hartford Seminary"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Hartford Seminary","hits":3,"label":"Hartford Seminary"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":3,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":null,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":1,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":3,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":true}}}
