The primary tool involves daily use of an imagery model outlined in Getting Well Again, (Simonton, Simonton, and Creighton) with five persons whose physical dysfunction of prolonged duration serves as an indicator of stress. The group meets weekly for reporting and sharing for a three month period. A pre-test and post-test procedure uses the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (Spielberger, Gorsuch, and Luschene). Testing results are positive and hopeful, but statistically insignificant and ambiguous."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["7d2ba5b6-aeec-459a-aaec-e1eed75d32f0"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134295805394944,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:32:55.144Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:11:40Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:39:44Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"fb6e5f03-87df-4a3d-8c45-3db8dec8f504","accessControl_ssim":["8e064cb9-cf07-448a-a777-45b79ad004bf"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The effects of facilitation on the dynamics of small group living"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:11:39Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:18:57Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["880240fe-0706-4bc7-bbc1-5d6502767bac"],"hasLease_ssim":["48915c6b-f2cd-465a-bbbe-4174c038ff56"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["David A Steere"],"year_tesim":["1984"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Pauline La Mothe"],"publisher_tesim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Communal living","Women and religion","Social groups","Communication","Group facilitation"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project will explore the effects of facilitation on a small group of women religious. The hypothesis and accompanying corollaries were studied using an already existing Jungian study curriculum produced by the Centerpoint Foundation, called Centerpoint I. The curriculum was enhanced by the addition of Ira Progoff's journaling methodology, the personal journals of the participants being the major evaluative data sources for the research itself. The data was generally in support of the hypothesis and its corollaries, namely, that our polytheistic tendencies are rooted in the human psyche and that heightened personal consciousness equates with a movement from polytheism toward monotheism."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["7d2ba5b6-aeec-459a-aaec-e1eed75d32f0"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134279792590848,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:32:39.873Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:11:10Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:33:41Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"613c7fe3-cfa5-4e75-8292-d23c3929a03c","accessControl_ssim":["716459b9-a771-46ff-915b-38edd6dc471a"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Adult education for mission"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:11:10Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:58:34Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["2e1b4b99-5e0f-454e-8b81-3edc7a353268"],"hasLease_ssim":["23b5977a-0500-4cb3-ac01-f07f3fa9b207"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Craig R Dykstra"],"year_tesim":["1984"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Gerald William Bauer"],"publisher_tesim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Christian education of adults","Gifts, Spiritual","Missions--Theory"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project describes an adult education course designed to motivate Christians for mission. Theological treatment of God's people sent forth into mission and gifts for ministry combine with a theoretical consideration of the nature of adult education, the leader's role, and the components in this educational curriculum. The two emerge in an educational process that emphasizes the discovery of individual gifts for ministry. The learnings chapter examines the project suggesting a theological approach that begins with and emphasizes mission.
