Research involves biblical resources, theological studies, and empirical knowledge of a specific small urban church situation. A simple analysis of these avenues of concern demonstrates that the viability of the small urban church rests in the action of God with His people. Options are reviewed for the congregation facing its endtime of existence."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["d722638c-a7e2-43f3-93ff-4762bde0dde7"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791133883878604800,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:26:22.300Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:13:09Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:15:58Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"03ff3042-25d5-4232-a96e-9fe08e1a1ad8","accessControl_ssim":["0f336c8e-5c1e-4960-8866-e8fcf7d7f3c7"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A living faith: learning through living and reflection"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:13:08Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:14:16Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["787150a9-41ce-4b0f-8116-3c2910a2a287"],"hasLease_ssim":["9e8158d0-0510-4dbf-950b-0fcd0a3b48a7"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago"],"advisor_tesim":["Jay C Rochelle"],"year_tesim":["1990"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Robert W Carlson"],"keyword_tesim":["Theology, Contextual"],"publisher_tesim":["Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago"],"subject_tesim":["Clergy","Laity","Spiritual life"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The Christian faith is a way of life. This paper begins by examining how faith has been separated from life. The solutions offered to correct this shortcoming include the roles of pastor and the Christian community. Library research is the primary form of study for this project in areas of spirituality, liberation theology, educational theory, psychology, and developmental psychology.
