It explores a number of key women in the New Testament, the developmental theories of Carol Gilligan, and ten sermons by Anglican/Episcopalian women priests.  The thesis then examines homiletics curricula at four Anglican colleges in Canada. The author designed and conducted a process for a small group that incorporated practices of faith, explicit theological reflection and discussion of potentially divisive issues facing the Anglican Church of Canada.  She sought to discover whether such a process strengthened unity and to explore the function of the ordained parish leader in the process.
