As a result, there has been an increase in the number of volunteers who perform ministerial roles once reserved to religious professionals. These volunteers often have not received the spiritual formation of their professional predecessors. Drawing from the U.S.C.C.B. document Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord, the author has created a program of spiritual formation for parish lay volunteers. Mexicans in particular share their practices with the larger Catholic community.  This challenges congregations and preachers as they attempt to minister to this ever growing population. The author begins with an exploration of the current wave of immigration, comparing and contrasting it with past immigration history. They desire a friendly, faith filled community that has an affirming and welcoming pastoral staff. The project methodology uses exploratory questions for the self-administered questionnaire, focus groups and personal interviews. The data analysis of the variables resulted in the following conclusions: 96% of the returnees actively search for a parish; they want a pastor who preaches and prays well; they want to be involved in ministry both within and beyond the parish. Unitl recently, most Romanian Catholics were unaware of the post-conciliar renewal taking place in other parts of the world.  The project includes two parts.  The theoretical framework includes an examination of inculturation, an overview of contemporary catechesis, a contemporary understanding of the Romanian Church, and the socialization model. In the experience teachers formed one another collaboratively through their questions, stories, examples and passion for the Catholic education project. A review of the literature, with special emphasis on the spirituality of both AA and the population, tentatively concluded that adaptation was possible and advisable.  A manual was developed to introduce Hispanic pastoral agents to the tenets of AA and was piloted on a group of ten such ministers.  Both qualitative and quantitative analysis revealed both the possibility and advisability of adapting AA to the situation of the Catholic Mexican male
