The project provides a route to a more cooperative, Christ-like, and unified evangelical interchurch community. Biblical and theological sources were used to gather data for this project. Further, this project contains information form interviews and fields notes from three case studies at three sites in northern New England. Using a broad survey of churches in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States, this project demonstrates that many congregations do not provide opportunities for disabled individuals to serve in regular worship gatherings. Follow-up interviews with currently inclusive churches show that providing opportunities for people with disabilities to contribute to the worship service is manageable for most congregations and is beneficial to the church community. A review of recent literature reveals the evaluation of the Prayer Summit movement, city-wide crusades and other efforts to come together.  The acceptance of diversity and its relation to changes in our society is also discussed. Several key passages in the Bible are examined to determine the key principles for unity to occur among believers and the place diversity has in that experience.  A survey was conducted of pastors in the writer's local community to identify the current perspective of unity with diversity. Basic beliefs are delineated that are viewed as essential for unity as well as a clarification of the issues that are understood as acceptable areas of diversity in the Body of Christ. It presents the need and theological foundations for such a ministry.  Questionnaires and interviews were used to gather data from clergy, remarrieds and about to be remarrieds.  Study of literature and audio resources on remarriage were also pursued.  Seminars can be designed to help prepare couples for remarriage.  The study discusses design, implementation and evaluation of a 'planning on remarriage' seminar and addresses barriers for doing so in a conservative evangelical setting.
