This work examines biblical prayer in both the Old and New Testaments, as well as investigates the history of prayer practice in the Presbyterian polity. This study is followed by a seminar and a small group study for the purpose of applying the biblical principles outlined in the life of the church. The conclusion reached in this study is that prayer is the privileged expression of the Father-children relationship, fully granted to us through Jesus, the Son.
