By interviewing a sample of 33 Vietnamese Christians, the project discovered that Vietnamese immigrants are often not devoted to their former religions. Crises, conviction that Christ is God, anticipation that God can meet one's felt needs, and parents' approval are important factors influencing conversion. The problems of cultural collision, however, were not anticipated.  The impact of this collision produced broken relations within the fellowship of the church. This study sought to discover the extent of the undesirable situation and to propose viable solutions to counteract this brokenness in the fellowship of the church.
