In developing the Biblical Discipleship Course, the theological framework and doctrinal implications of the Great Commission Matthew 28:18–20 were identified and discussed. This course was designed to be objective based, transformative and motivational driven with several schools of thought on this subject were used in its development. The assertions of two hypotheses of this study were satisfied and upheld, by collected research and analysis. A Seminary Level Biblical Discipleship Course can transform students into makers of disciples in fulfillment of the Great Commission. Points of emphasis included a rationale for the large percentage of its African American students and the opportunity the DCP-CMN program had to equip alumni to reach the Pittsburgh region's unreached peoples-especially its international students. Interviews described servant-leaders who exemplified the categories found in Jenning's and Stahl-Wert's book, The Serving Leader. The study concluded that, overall, the DCP-CMN program fulfilled Geneva College's Mission Statement. Alongside this growth is also the fast growth of the church in Africa. The growth of cities could be rich fields for harvest for the church if it is able to use this growth as viable field for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Most seminaries in Africa have not yet awaken to the challenge of training pastors who are able to tackle adequately the urban challenges that face the church in Africa today. In order to provide the desired training for pastors who will be able to minister in the city, this project is written with the view to developing an urban ministry curriculum for the Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) Mkar in Nigeria. An analysis was done of the practice in Nebraska from 2000 to 2009. The knowledge and skill sets required by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church nationally were also analyzed. The current Nebraska practices and the national sets recommended were compared to best practice as seen in entry level seminary preaching courses. The first chapter describes some complaints from the parishioners in the diocese of Kirinyaga of clergy who are currently serving in various parishes and are not qualified enough to meet the needs of the Christians in the pews.  The second chapter is an outline of curriculum issues in ACK colleges.  The third chapter gives Biblical Foundations for Theological Education, and the impact of these foundations on theological education today.  The fourth chapter presents the research data analysis based on the five categories of the respondents who completed and returned the questionnaires.  There respondents were: students, clergy, laity, tutors and bishops. An outline of the issues and concerns put forward by the respondents shows that review and evaluation of the current curriculum is urgent and important. It explores a number of key women in the New Testament, the developmental theories of Carol Gilligan, and ten sermons by Anglican/Episcopalian women priests.  The thesis then examines homiletics curricula at four Anglican colleges in Canada.
