The subjects are well-functioning middle-aged persons.  They narrate their entire journey of conversion.  Throughout the case studies, the holistic theory of Lewis Rambo and the normative theories of Donald Gelpi and Walter Conn are used to analyze the process of initial and ongoing conversion. Eighteen male volunteers of diverse national and personal backgrounds were surveyed and a number of others referred to concerning the long-term effects of their own abortion experience, most of which were negative.  The author argues against elective abortion as public policy and personal choice on religious, medical, and social grounds.  The foundation is laid for the development of an approach to biblical counseling of post-abortion males and for the training of counselors. Eight Black Episcopal congregations in the Diocese of Texas were engaged in tracing their history on three levels: historical timelines, historical documents and photographs, and narrative histories as recorded in interviews.  The timelines, historical documents, and pictures offer an historical context for understanding these eight Black Episcopal churches.
