The project included a study group that engaged in eight study sessions of the book of Psalms.  This group then divided into five sub-groups, each of which was responsible for the ordering and implementation of a worship service centered upon a theme from the Psalms.  The project also included the efforts of a project steering committee that sought to explore the plurality of the worshiping community through the use of oral interviews. A specific focus is put upon grief as expressed individually and corporately.  Research was done with individuals and the congregation as a whole.  A qualitative approach was used, blending the themes of grounded theory and participant observation.  Specific methods included a journal, conversational interviews, and liturgical services.  Positive results were gained from having individuals and the congregation deal purposefully with their grief rather than denying its reality. To increase their personal and structural awareness of sexism, a method of theological reflection on sexism and ministry was designed and used. The qualitative and feminist research methodology gathered data by means of field notes, journals, evaluations and presentations of the theological reflection method. Consciousness, theology and behaviour were manifestly altered in each of the four seminarians. The Firstborn of all creation suffers today in the devastation of the planet.  To preach on the Passion a preacher requires a perspective transformation.  A perspective transformation is a form of adult learning in which people come to realize the limitations of their culturally induced and taken-for-granted world view and then take action to change it.  In a series of meetings using a method of qualitative research of a phenomenological nature, the author discovered that it is possible to facilitate a perspective transformation from mechanistic to an organicist world view. The Youth Corps (Toronto, Canada) experience was chosen as an existing operational vehicle for the research. As a qualitative study, the bias was lessened by asking predetermined questions to former team members of Youth Corps.  The results demonstrated that the team model is an effective approach to ministry.  It challenges people to work within a meaningful vision, to respond to action, and to an awareness of every person's leadership role. Participants' responses focus on the church's role in empowering older adults to create prophetic, serving, hopeful communities of peers.
