It focuses on the problems and possibilities for ministers who share ministry with the same congregation.  From Phyllis Trible's God and the Rhetoric of Sexuality the author takes the definition of feminism as a critique of culture in light of misogyny.  This definition provides the starting point for her critique of ministry.  From Elisabeth Schuessler Fiorenza's book In Memory of Her she learns the ways of feminist hermeneutics which serve as a critical tool for viewing the development of the church and ministry and as a constructive tool for seeing and creating new possibilities in ministry. Shared ministry, the possibility which the author envisions, applies a feminist hermeneutics to the life of the church. The thesis was that churches that corporately emphasized the pastoral roles of enabler and evangelist grow more rapidly than those which place less emphasis on these roles.  A questionnaire was administered to two groups of churches -- a control group of churches that grows approximately ten percent per annum and a randomly selected group of churches that grow slowly or decline in size. The author provides a statement of theological foundations for campus ministry. They can be powerful aids in preaching if and only if they are kept in a supporting role and do not overpower the sermon.  The project explores ways of realizing the power of illustrations while avoiding their dangers.  It reviews sources for illustrations and methods of filing them.  Sermons that use these ideals are evaluated by a representative group of parishioners. The context is the 19th century East-West encounter of religions.  The paper focuses on the interaction between the Brahmo Samaj of India and American Unitarianism.  Its methodology is historical-phenomenological.  It concludes that Mozoomdar's visits in 1883, 1893 and 1900 as a missionary of the New Dispensation evoked considerable response in America.  His role in the Parliament of Religions in 1893 was significant and his visits helped institutionalize relations between Indian Brahmos and American Unitarians. The results in general were positive.
