A twelve-week, supervised, self-study course was designed to deal with this need.  The course consisted of twelve weekly themes presented in cassette tape lessons, each one divided into five daily sub-topics; a workbook; and a transcript of the tapes. The purpose of this study was to determine whether Christians who underwent four weeks of christo-cybernetic therapy would self-report significantly less depression than Christians who did not. Library research on the Filipinos in Hawaii, exegetical works on selected biblical passages, and community and pastors' surveys were done.  The evaluation of the survey of Kalihi Baptist Church indicated that the English-speaking members preferred an integrated Filipino congregation.  The non-English speaking Filipinos preferred to have their own services. Pastors and staff of the Hawaii Baptist Convention want to see homogenous Filipino congregations. Active laity and clergy attitudes and practices were uncovered.  Campaign practices were surveyed.
