The project deals with churches which basically have a heritage of an evangelical background with prime emphasis on the preaching of the gospel and a definite experience in Christ.  For this project six churches were personally interviewed and fifty-eight churches responded to a questionnaire in relationship to the ministries of their churches. As such, it formed a segment within a clinical pastoral education program in a hospital setting.  A supervisory method of education was developed based upon adult learning theory. Because it is such a pronounced minority, the Melkite Church must simultaneously protect and share what is distinctively its own with these newcomers.  To this end, the didaskomenate--a period of instruction and religious socialization, like the catechumenate, but for those already baptized--was developed and implemented in this project. It articulated the characteristics of contemporary presidency at eucharist. The author designed, implemented and evaluated a five-day workshop on the topic for Roman Catholic priests.  The workshop included lectures, audio-visual critique and small group interaction among the participants.  The project demonstrated the need for continuing liturgical formation among Roman Catholic clergy.
