Based on Luther's understanding of 'the two Kingdoms', the project report discusses a person's responsibility as a steward of God's creation and the Christian's involvement in the church and the state.  A distinction is made between the management of the church as an institution and the management of ministry. Local church teachers participated in an individual and group reflection process  based on Thomas Groome's 'shared praxis' approach.  Pre- and post-process measurements indicated an increase in the teachers' valuing of their own faith experience, satisfaction in teaching and sense of purpose of teaching. 'Sharing' takes place when an individual member of the congregation relates to the congregation an event he deems spiritually significant.  Personal sharing requires a greater degree of self-disclosure and transparency than impersonal sharing. In this trinitarian understanding of stewardship, Christian stewards are empowered through baptism to live as little Christs.  One of the critical needs is to reground stewardship in baptismal theology.  Baptismal theology also reveals the need for interpersonal relationships among God's people. In both contexts, that of mysticism and that of psychotherapy, paradoxes are set up in such a fashion that significant life change becomes possible for the mystical seeker/therapy client.  The process of change that is initiated by paradoxes is described using the models of the respective fields.
