The project director researched the field of multiplication practices to gain a better understanding of various settings including community, business, and religious practices. Once the research was underway, the project director reported on the findings and sought to establish a connection between successful group multiplication practices and application in a specific religious setting. He wrote a curriculum to present to the adult small group Sunday school and Bible study leaders at Philadelphia Baptist Church. Not only that, but also emphasized the project's professionalism by applying guidance from professional evaluators to effectively reach the ministry's goal and professional goal. The project involved research in the general field of discipleship and in triad of quad disciple-making. The project director developed lesson plans and led the equipping seminars. An average of forty-six adults participated in the seminars. Seminar participants evaluated their spiritual awareness through the use of a pre-seminar assessment and then at the end of the equipping seminar participants took the same assessment. Results of pre- and post- assessment were compared. The project director utilized these resources to produce the lessons used to equip the selected group. The second phase was to develop a seminar, including lesson plans and a student workbook. The final phase of the project involved implementing the seminar for the initial training of the selected group. The seminar consisted of an introduction session, four lessons, a conclusion session and an implementation discussion. The seminar was conducted on four Sunday afternoons. The training focused on equipping students, who are given a lesson plan, to lead a group of their peers in studying Scriptures at an age-appropriate level of competence. Evaluation of the project director's growth and the effectiveness of the training occurred at the conclusion of the training event. The second phase included the development of a workshop, including lesson plans and a student workbook. The final phase of the project involved implementing a workshop for initial training. The project director trained a selected group of members of Costal Community Church in essential skills needed to lead a small group ministry. The leaders were trained to accomplish these purposes by learning a transitioning process which emphasized effective teamwork.  The process of accomplishing the purpose of the project began with researching transitional approaches which have been used to transition Bible study groups into cell groups.  Research focused on transitional methods that assist in changing from existing organizational structures into new organizational structures. The next stage of the project involved developing training materials for the purpose of equipping selected leaders to transition their small groups from Bible study small groups into purpose-driven, team-based cell groups.  The materials were developed using a defined standard that is described in William R. Yount's book entitled Created to Learn.  The final stage of the project involved the recruitment and training of selected Bible study leaders.  All current Bible study leaders were invited to participate in the training process.  The selected leaders who were trained consisted of those who agreed to attend all training sessions.
