Stories of students who were graduated from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary as early as 1922 demonstrate the power of story to reconcile the institution to past and future cross-cultural ministry. Through the process of mediation, stereotyped images of who victim and offenders are will be broken down; mutual agreement as what should be done about the offense can be reached; and reconciliation can occur.
