An examination of the curriculum known as 'Disciple: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study' suggested that this Bible study would address many church renewal concerns. The practicum was designed as an evaluation of Disciple which would be accomplished through its use in the candidate's parish and a series of twenty-seven interviews. The first key finding is that Disciple is a Bible study which should be used in every local church. The problem is approached in a practicum, in which a group of fifteen students at Oklahoma City University study worship and liturgy while planning for nine university worship events.  The project includes a theology, an educational approach, a narrative of the practicum, and a model for local church use. It evaluates the 'Perspectives in Feminist Theology' curriculum which is prepared as a group-guided study for the Perkins School of Theology.  It evaluates Groome's 'shared praxis' approach and its potential for effectively presenting material which is 'engaged' in the cause of the full participation and empowerment of women in church and society.  The thesis is that upon completion of the curriculum, the student and participating group have an introduction to various models of feminist theology and are prepared to continue the feminist theological task through further study and personal participation. Conclusions are based on evaluations of participants in the study and from a Perkins School of Theology senior who worked with the currriculum. The student designed a thirteen week curriculum which consisted of lecture, discussions, and journal keeping.  A pre-test and two post-tests were given to assess changes in belief, values, and behaviors.  These evaluative tests indicate that changes which were positively correlated with class objectives were most strongly and reliably catalyzed by the method of journal keeping. In addition to conducting extensive biblical, historical, and doctrinal research, the student delivered weekly children's sermons over a four year period in consultation with a core of selected lay persons.
