The author interviewed fifty people, women and men, laypeople and seminarians, using a two-hour Life Story interview she designed.  She then led a workshop and a retreat, and drew some working conclusions on significant variables in self-concept, sexuality, and spirituality. The student developed the model and utilized it within a Christian context in seven weekly sessions of two hours each, and then concluded with a twenty-four hour retreat at a nearby facility.
