The hermeneutical process was taken from Paul Ricouer and the theology of stewardship was developed in reaction to Karl Barth's concept of 'true growth' in the community of faith. A seminar based upon the shared Christian praxis approach was developed. The seminar was held at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Calumet, Oklahoma. It consisted of lectures and written activities. The seminar participants gained a new understanding of stewardship which was used to project avenues of action. This indicates a successful completion of the project."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Phillips Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["0f3d74d9-8a9b-4580-a458-c2d78a76b977"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799714902430973952,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:37:59.301Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:44:41Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:28:20Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"0ec155fc-e0ec-4188-8b73-572499800662","accessControl_ssim":["196e4bbb-163d-48f6-ad6a-8a9bcc91e5d5"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The pastor as spiritual director: an integration of spiritual elements into the pastoral model"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:44:41Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:32:20Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["04f357d2-fb99-472e-b4c1-8a75dd360cc6"],"hasLease_ssim":["c6918d1d-efce-442c-a86b-1cd9c98184ac"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Phillips Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["W David Richards"],"year_tesim":["1985"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["J Edward Putnam"],"publisher_tesim":["Phillips Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Pastoral counseling","Spiritual directors","Spiritual direction"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This integrative paper is meant to bring together in a meaningful manner the results of study, practical experience, and reflection aimed at the defining of a way in which spiritual methods and resources available to the parochial clergyperson may be utilized in a responsible pastoral model.
