Except for rejection of females as staff leaders and their frustration in changing pastorates, attractive personality and competence are more important than gender. Inadequate knowledge of common staff dynamics, in which sex is but one factor, causes misunderstandings of their complexity. To enhance harmony and mutuality during candidacy and in staff relationships, a discussion-starter is provided. A theoretical model of staff relationships is developed. It incorporates motifs of harmony and mutuality and focuses on pastors as servant-leaders."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31bd5819-b5a3-4928-96d5-b581f38b637b"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791127156081819648,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:39:26.173Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:32:58Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:31:47Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"1999689c-27bb-4034-948c-20a228da801f","accessControl_ssim":["a9db5f93-5559-4d45-a47a-38f24aa4ee39"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The promise of community: sharing life together in small groups at Anne Ashley Church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:32:57Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:52:52Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["2bea6362-0a71-4152-a212-9dd52da6b1d9"],"hasLease_ssim":["2603ddc9-0361-46e6-8e47-a74b6dae8e02"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Scott W Sunquist"],"year_tesim":["2000"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Gregory D Golden"],"publisher_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Theology, Practical","Small groups","Church group work"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project describes the development of a small group ministry at Anne Ashley Memorial United Methodist Church.
