The biblical reference for the project came from Jeremiah 36.  The participants in the program were lay persons from St Luke's Episcopal Church, Mobile, Alabama.  They committed themselves to read selected passages from Holy Scripture, to reflect upon the same through contemplation and to write journal entries related to the experience.  Two questionnaires provided empirical data on the project, which lasted 30 days.  At the conclusion the participants made personal assessments of their own spiritual growth."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31bd5819-b5a3-4928-96d5-b581f38b637b"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791126959147712512,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:36:18.362Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:36:45Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:34:13Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"392b0433-ac87-4738-8c9d-1c9e110ffb0c","accessControl_ssim":["16d77b1f-aa9a-477d-9651-8952038b54d3"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["An experiment in prayer using process theology categories"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:36:44Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:47:09Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["29c0cfd9-1f12-476b-80ab-476ee1039d7f"],"hasLease_ssim":["5ed6f101-f747-408b-a05c-83fa105a647a"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Gordon E Jackson"],"year_tesim":["1985"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["John Henry Spaulding"],"publisher_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Spiritual formation","Diaries","Process theology","Prayer"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The writer's thesis was that process thought contributes to a renewal of a person's prayer life.  This was a study of twenty people who were divided into two groups.  The one group received eight lessons concerning process thought; the second group did not receive the lessons.  All twenty persons kept daily journals to record insights and feelings about God, self, and the world; all participants prayed daily for fifteen minutes during a period of eight weeks.  Written data from three questions were answered at the beginning and the end of the experiment which showed a positive contribution of process thought."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31bd5819-b5a3-4928-96d5-b581f38b637b"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791126833533550592,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:34:18.567Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":2,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Dwight Eugene Ogier","hits":1,"label":"Dwight Eugene Ogier"},{"value":"John Henry Spaulding","hits":1,"label":"John Henry Spaulding"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Diaries","hits":2,"label":"Diaries"},{"value":"Contemplation","hits":1,"label":"Contemplation"},{"value":"Prayer","hits":1,"label":"Prayer"},{"value":"Process theology","hits":1,"label":"Process theology"},{"value":"Spiritual direction","hits":1,"label":"Spiritual direction"},{"value":"Spiritual formation","hits":1,"label":"Spiritual formation"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":2,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Pittsburgh Theological Seminary","hits":2,"label":"Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":2,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"1985","hits":1,"label":"1985"},{"value":"1989","hits":1,"label":"1989"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Pittsburgh Theological Seminary","hits":2,"label":"Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":2,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Pittsburgh Theological Seminary","hits":2,"label":"Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":2,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":null,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":1,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":2,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":true}}}
