Using resources from other authors, the author discusses: the relation between Christ and culture; how Chinese and Chinese culture are marginalized; the problems of assimilation, adaptation, and integration of the Chinese; and the Anglican Church's apathy toward multiculturalism. The author introduces his 'kaleidoscope' image as an alternative to the 'melting pot' or 'mosaic' models. Research into the process of Indochinese migration into Australia also is included.  A survey was conducted among churches in Sydney to discover the distinctive elements of Chinese evangelism.  A training program was developed based on the findings. This program was tested and retested.
