Demands of discipleship in Seventh-day Adventist congregations often cause Hawaiian converts to drop out rather than break their connections with family, culture, and lifestyle. Biblical and missiological reflections were supported by a study of the overall and financial status of the Egyptian SDA Church by means of surveys, interviews, charts and graphs.  It was discovered that the Egyptian SDA Church is fast approaching a state of deterioration and decay that must be addressed promptly and reversed.
