Chapter 3 looks at church planting methodologies, including ethnic church planting and Hispanic church planting in the state of Alabama. Chapter 4 gives details of the project process. Special attention is given to the different types of preparation for church planting. Chapter 5 is the author's personal reflection on the project. Because the project's goal was to lead the church to begin the journey of church planting, little emphasis is given to the 'nuts and bolts' of church planting. Ararat Baptist Church, Nashville, Tenn, by reclaiming its worship heritage.  Cultural terms such as 'Black' and 'celebrative' were defined along with the direction the project would take. Biblical, theological, and historical research were presented as foundations for Black worship enrichment in chapter 2.  Chapter 3 analyzed the congregation for the need of the project using social research.  A program of worship enrichment stressing heritage awareness was presented.  Chapter 4 evaluated the project as needed and successful. The priorities of the newspaper's various roles were explored by examining polls of Baptist editors and the Index's board of directors.  A profile analysis of the newspaper's constituency showed an alarming absence of young readers, posing a threat to The Index's future vitality and influence. Chapter 1 defines the subject of prayer and proves that the Bible is not only an infallible divine revelation of God's plan of redemption, but also a record of the invaluable inspirational prayers of Jesus Christ. Chapter 2 begins with the birth of the Sudan Interior Mission and substantiates its mission emphasis by prayer in West Africa. Chapter 3 examines hindrances to prevailing prayers and the Nigerian Evangelical Church of West Africa involvement with charismatic movement. Chapter 4 addresses the importance of prayer in mission and biblical imperatives of praying for mission. Prayer strategies for rapid exponential increase of church planting are also included.
